In our efforts to continue to implement company policies that promote health and safety, Mb Staffing Services has begun a new affiliation with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Created within the U.S. Department of Labor in 1970, OSHA offers training and guidance to companies to ensure worker protection. Topics that are covered include worker rights, employer help, and personal protective equipment, among many others.
Until the onset of COVID-19, OSHA primarily worked with construction companies. Their reach is now expanding to other industries including our own, and a new page on their website is dedicated to information on COVID-19. Our budding affiliation with OSHA allows us to learn from other companies and solidify our health and safety efforts.
Next week, the week of August 10, Mb will be participating in OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week. This is an annual nationwide event that gives companies an opportunity to share their health and safety programs and learn from one another.
More information on OSHA and Safe + Sound Week can be found at their website. As always, Mb’s corporate staff is also available to answer any questions or concerns. Thank you for your attention.
