On Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance, we honor the first responder—firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency workers, and service members—who rushed fearlessly into action to save lives on September 11. We remember the survivors, families, and loved ones that were impacted and continue to honor those we love and lost. We honor the brave men and women that helped restore our spirit in unity that followed this day. The heroism embodies the American strength and resilience, and their valor continues to inspire new generations of Americans.
