COVID-19 Regional Update: New Mayor’s Order 2021-147

January 3, 2022 / Mb Staffing

To our Colleagues and Friends:

Mb Staffing Services, LLC. is prepared to report that our associates, staff, and visitors are fully cooperative in compliant to mayor, Muriel Bowser’s executive order 2021-099, mandating that all employees, contractors, and grantees in partnership with our service to either be fully vaccinated, or submit weekly COVID test with negative results.

Hence our compliance, Mb is fully aware of the current climate and the exponential growth of the Omicron variants, that seems to threaten the health and welfare of our community and impact many residents of the unvaccinated population. With this alarming spread of the COVID virus, our team will continue to cooperate with the Mayor’s Order 2021-147, which is an extension to strongly encourage our employees to be fully vaccinated. The recent order also reinstates that under no circumstances in closed facilities, anyone should be lifting or removing masks. All persons must always wear masks indoor.

The District of Columbia Mayor’s office recently reported that 602,676 DC residents were administered at least one dose, and nearly 500,000 DC residents are fully vaccinated. The amount of residents vaccinated is unmatched and outnumbers the number of positive cases reported, which is 79,565 as of December 22, 2021, however, nearly 2,000 per 100,000 people are tested positive every week.

Our team is working vigorously to formulate a plan to reduce obstacles that the virus continues to aggressively impact our community. Two doses of the vaccine to fight against the COVID virus is still required at Mb and we strongly encourage our staff to receive a dose of the booster shot, which is an extra security to prevent contracting the virus. The option to eliminate our “weekly test” and require our tested employees to be vaccinated is of consideration, but in the meantime, if anyone is unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, please continue to submit weekly COVID test with negative results. Our preliminary objective is to decrease the number of infected people and secure our protocol by requiring our members to comply with Mayor’s order’s 2021-099 and 2021-147.

You can send us your questions or concerns at info@mbstaffing.com and we will do our best to reply in a timely manner.

With gratitude for your kind patronage, we wish to thank you for your cooperation.

Yours sincerely,

Mb Staffing Services, LLC.
